Iraqi Children's Art Exchange Project: Photo and Art Gallery
|
The Iraqi Children's Art Exchange was created to connect Iraqi and American children and youth and to give them an active voice in the ongoing conflict between the USA and Iraq. The gallery reflects the changing narrative of the project and the conflict for Iraqis: sanctions, internal displacement, the diaspora, living in Amman, Jordan. The work is always two-sided, so each exhibit contains photographs and art from children in the USA in a comparable time period.
