THE IRAQI CHILDREN'S ART EXCHANGE
The Iraqi Children's Art Exchange invites Iraqi and American children and youth to participate in art-inspired projects. Transcending the barriers of language, culture and politics, projects create important learning opportunities, foster communication, and promote peace and nonviolence.

Introducing Iraqi Childrens' Art to America
Shinji Yamasaki

Kathy Kelly “Like most who view the images Claudia displays, I've felt edified and challenged. Claudia Lefko enacts that person to person diplomacy which can guarantee far more security for ordinary Iraqis and Americans than the U.S. government policies predicated on threat, force, and increasing hatred. Time spent with these images can greatly enhance the further invention of nonviolence.”
